Privacy Policy

Propel.OS (“Propel,” “we,” “us”) is a workplace-culture measurement service operated by Propel.OS LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we handle it, and the choices you have. It applies to propelyourculture.com and the Propel application.
Information we collect
Account information. When you or your employer create an account, we collect your name, email address, and the password or Google sign-in you use to authenticate. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google — nothing else.
Culture & profile data. Propel measures team culture. We collect the pulse-survey responses you submit (ratings and any comments), your Propel Profile results, your role, and who you report to within your organization.
Billing information. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store full card numbers — Stripe handles payment details directly and returns only a customer/subscription reference and status.
Usage & device data. Standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and a session cookie that keeps you logged in.
How we use your information
To provide the service — run pulse cycles, show dashboards, flag culture risks, and surface the right conversations to leaders; to authenticate you and keep your account secure; to process payments and manage subscriptions; to send service email (invitations, pulse links, password resets, alerts); and to improve and support the product. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your culture data for advertising.
How the pulse works, and who sees what
Culture data is sensitive. Within a company, aggregated results and individual trends are visible to that company’s authorized administrators and the leaders in a person’s reporting line — the same way an HR dashboard works. We access your data only to operate and support the service.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us run Propel, under contract and only as needed:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting of application data.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Google — optional “Sign in with Google” authentication.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service. If Propel is involved in a merger or acquisition, information may transfer as part of that transaction; we’ll notify you of any change in control of your data.
Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account or your company’s account is active, and as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When an account is closed, we delete or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it by law.
Security
Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes — never in readable form. Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to authorized personnel, and payment data is handled by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
Your choices and rights
You can access and update your account information, request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account by contacting us at headcoach@contractorcoachpro.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor those rights where they apply.
Children
Propel is a workplace tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
